If your local community is important to you and your staff, now is the perfect time to think about choosing a local charity to support.  Street2Homes is a registered charity based in Harlow, Essex that provides a day centre which helps those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.  In our safe and friendly environment, we can assist in a number of ways including tactical interventions like providing food, showers and clean clothes as well as longer term support like mentoring and securing ‘move on ‘ accommodation.

Streets2Homes support up to 60 men and women intensively and up to 200 with lower level needs, at any given time.  Right now, we urgently need donations and funding from companies like yours.

At Streets2Homes’ Bromley Cottages in Harlow, we provide our homeless residents with a clean warm bedroom, home-cooked meals as well as washing and hygiene facilities.  Of equal importance, we provide one-to-one support and counselling from in-house support workers.  In addition, we are able to signpost to specialist agencies to ensure that residents receive clinical and psychological support.

We rely on donations – support costs money, and we rely on donations and contributions.  That’s why we’ve packaged our support options.  You can see how your donations can provide tangible help.  For example, your company could fund the costs of one resident at Bromley Cottages for a month. You could even donate some of your professional services like IT or admin or give your staff time off to organise a fundraising activity.

The Benefits to your company – if yours is a limited company, you will pay less Corporation Tax by donating to Streets2Homes.  Whats more, in return for helping us, you’ll not only enjoy the warm glow associated with giving to charity, but your corporate social responsibility credentials will be sky high.  You’ll also benefit from branding across our marketing and social media platforms, PR coverage, a certificate to display and lots more.
